upcycling pans into collective music instruments

PanGamelan is a project aiming to share sounds and instrument music building. Inspired by the musical Gamelan culture from Indonesia -both Java and Bali- we propose the construction of low-cost collective melodic percussion instruments . We share our building tips, basic acoustic notions, and musical ideas, to help spreading these possibilities around the globe, and contribute creating a network of people, celebrating diversity of musical approaches, found tuning, and social interaction around sound.
